ICAI Outlines Key Requirements for May 2025 CA Exams

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has issued detailed instructions for candidates intending to take the May 2025 CA exams. To streamline the application process, students should ensure their records are up to date and meet all eligibility requirements through the Self-Service Portal (SSP).

  • Login Credentials: Ensure you have valid login credentials for the SSP. New users can register on the ICAI e-Services Portal.
  • Course Registration: Confirm that your course registration is active. If your registration has expired, you must switch to the new course (e.g., Final Course Code: NEWFIN23 or CONFIN23).
  • Photograph & Signature: Upload clear and high-quality photographs and signatures as per ICAI’s guidelines.
  • Articleship Status: Final-level candidates must mark their articleship status as “Registered” on SSP.
  • Advanced ICITSS Completion: Complete the Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (AICITSS) by April 10, 2025, to be eligible for the exams.
  • Self-Paced Online Modules (SPOM): Complete the required modules (Set A, B, C, or D), based on your admission and exam history.

Articleship training requirements and important dates for the May 2025 CA exams:

  • Candidates must complete their articleship training, including any excess leave, by either April 30, 2025, or October 31, 2025, depending on their course and training status.

Important Dates and Deadlines:

  • April 10, 2025: The deadline to complete the Advanced ICITSS and SPOM eligibility requirements.
  • May 2025 Exams: Make sure all eligibility criteria are met before submitting the exam application form
